How to Translate and Publish Videos

This page explains the normal workflow in Zagao Studio: connect/select a channel, open a video, translate selected languages, then publish the translations to YouTube.

Quick Workflow

  1. Sign in and open Videos

After login, open the `Videos` page and choose your channel from the channel dropdown.

  2. Refresh channel videos (optional)

Check `Force refresh from YouTube` and click `Apply` to sync the latest videos and import existing YouTube localizations.

  3. Open a video’s translation page

Click the `View translations` action on any video card to manage that video’s languages.

  4. Select languages and translate

Use the language list/search, select the target languages, then click `Translate selected`.

  5. Review translated title/description

Preview the generated localized title and description for each language before publishing.

  6. Publish to YouTube

Click `Publish selected` (or `Publish all translations`) to update YouTube localizations for that video.

Common Questions

Why do I see 0 translations when YouTube already has localizations?

Use `Force refresh from YouTube` on the Videos page or open a video’s translation page. The app imports YouTube localizations into the local database during those actions.

What does “Member credit” mean?

Member plans include a monthly AI translation credit budget. Usage is tracked by translated characters and estimated API cost, and shown in your dashboard and translation page.

Can I publish only some languages?

Yes. Select only the languages you want and use `Publish selected`. You do not need to publish every translated language.

How do I get help if something fails?

Use the `Support Tickets` section in your dashboard (after login) or the public `Contact` page for setup and billing questions.
